I'm assuming that you have natural nails??? Cleanse your nails with alcohol prior to polishing. Use a lint free towel. Apply a good base coat. (Stickey by Creative is great!). Apply 2 coats of nail polish and a good top coat such as Seche Vite or Poshe. Apply a top coat every other day and remember to seal the tips of your nails with polish, this prevents chipping!

I've been told that if you hold your freshly painted nails over a hot flame for 20 seconds, they don't chip as easily! My wife says it works like a charm.
Buff your nails lightly with a file and swipe your nails with nail polish remover to remove oil from your nails before you apply the polish. (The polish will adhere to your nails better) Be sure to apply 2 light coats and finish with a clear coat.
put a couple coats of clear polish over your dry colored nail polish. works great...
an old wives tale suggests to dip your nails in icey water after they are freshly dried... although it was an old wives tale it has since been proven to work well!
Use a clear nail polish on top of it, that's made for anti-chipping.

What is a good way to put on the car it is for sale? like nail or shoe polish, or what not sure what to use?

they have stuff at walmart for a few dollars that's made just for that... it's called window chalk or something like that, it's with the auto care stuff :)

White shoe polish works but can be difficult to get off of black trim and other surfaces. They make specific ';markers'; made to write on windows and wash off without causing damage. This is what you see on car lots and store windows.
Deffinately do not use nail polish.
However, writing ';for sale'; on the windows has never brought me anything other than window shoppers. Everything I have ever sold has been through some sort of advertising on paper or internet.

I drank nail varnish remover as a toddle, and spent a good couple of days in hospital. Acetone poisoning is not cool and can kill! Very small amounts of nail varnish remover drank by an adult is not life threatening, but still not good. Acetone causes breathing problems.

Okay, so, I've have this bottle of nail polish for a while, there's still a lot in it, but its really sticky and kinda dry, so it's kinda hard to put on. My friend's mom owns a nail salon where there's this liquid you can put in the nail polish bottle to make the nail polish in the bottle like, like dry? It was remover, right? Not actually nail polish? Wash them out, if possible. If not, you should at least get a damp rag and wipe them as well as you can and wash them as soon as possible. Attack the spot with a bit of acetone on a clean cloth. Try not to get too much on the jeans to prevent damage. Dab and blot to remove nail polish. Keep blotting until color no longer transfers to the cloth. Use as much acetone as necessary to keep removing the nail polish.
If color remains, you may have to bring out the bigger guns and go to work using your muscle and a stiff brush. Depending on the strength of the jeans, scrubbing to remove the nail polish may do the trick.
