The recent lead paint toy recall has me worried.If I buy cheap nail polish, could it have lead in it?
yes, especially red nail polish i advise you to go to a beauty supply store %26amp; get opi the nail polish does have a small trace of led in it but its small enough not to hurt you, %26amp; opi also doesn't have all of the other bad chemicals it can range from $7-10 a bottle but its worth it in the end.If I buy cheap nail polish, could it have lead in it?

Well, most things are made in China anyways. Lots of things have lead in them, even expensive things. And I read in a beauty magazine that the lead content is low enough in makeup that you don't have to worry too much.
I licked alot of lead paint off walls when I was a kid and I'm still here.
check the lable on where it's from %26amp; only buy things made in the USA
If it is from China, there is a good chance it has lead. If it is from the USA, don't worry.
if they are from the dollar stores.. problably... i dont recommend cheap nail polish tho. the colors are never exact, it gets clumpy, nd it wears off quickly. i havent heard they had lead in it although i had seen a few that jus doesnt fit into safe for nails. jus go for a higher brand than risking it, if you are that worried of course. good luck!
