Some times my nail polish gets thick after a while. how can i keep my nail polish from thickening?

i used MAC nail polish and i have a couple of discontinued colours, and i don't know how to preserve them.Some times my nail polish gets thick after a while. how can i keep my nail polish from thickening?
1. keep the nail polish in your refrigerator (the cold helps)

Water it down
Use a tiny bit of nail polish remover.
you just add about 3 drops of nail polish remover, but do not make the drops very big because u will just mess up the polish and have to buy another one, and if they are the discontinued ones.....u will be in trouble.

use a little of medicinal alcohol to make it stop thickening
All you have to do is add a little nail polish removal in it and that will do the trick.....

add a drop or two of polish remover to thin it out a bit
hey well i know about the '; thickening ';if polish !! it suxx well this is wut i do i pour a Little bit of nail polish remover in it not to much or you can just go buy a new one!!
put one drop of nail polish remover in it and shake very well

sorta like using turps to thin out paints and laquers
add a small amount of a clear nail polish to the bottle
a) remember to always keep the lids closed really tight.


b) put a bit of nail polish remover in the colors and they should get thin again.
Have you use MK nail polishes? I love their colors and they last a long time.
add a lil acetone to it (nail polish remover) jus a tad to thin it out shake it up real good,and use! also to stop that and keep nail polish fresh,keep them in the refrigrator,or a cold place.
