How do I get ink off nail polish without ruining my mainicure??????
I've tried soap and water and hairspray!!! I'm desperate here!How do I get ink off nail polish without ruining my mainicure??????
I would try the following:
1) Get nail varnish remover, and a cottom bud, use alot of remover on it, and hope it comes off. However, your manicure for that nail will too, so you would need to re-do it. I don't know if you got it done proffesionally, or if you did it yourself. If you did it yourself, it would be easier just to do that beacuse then you can re-do that nail.
2) Leave it, over time, like anything, it should come off. Try every half an hour washing your hands with soap and warm water. Or when in the bath/shower make sure you get soap on it.

Aerosol cans and nail polish in checked luggage?
I'm going to Paris in a week %26amp; I want to bring the following items:
-Shaving Cream
- Aerosol moisturizer
- Hairspray
- Nail Polish
- Perfume
If I pack these all in my checked luggage, will any of them explode due to air pressure or break?Aerosol cans and nail polish in checked luggage?

Because arriving in Rome a couple of years ago, my shampoo had leaked all over my clothes....due to TSA opening my shampoo and not putting the cap back on tight. So try putting anything like that in a gallon size zip lock bag for your own protection.
The above poster is incorrect. You can bring aerosol in your checked baggage; the baggage compartment is pressurized. Be sure to put them all in waterproof containers.
You can also bring an aerosol into the cabin if it's 3 oz. or less.
They transport animals in cargo holds.
I have never had a problem with anything like that when flying.

I travel all the time, and I have brought all of the above with no problems. However, make sure you do not bring any of those items in your carry-on or it will be confiscated. Also, if your aerosol can is too big they will take it. Bring a smaller size. Wrap the perfume in a sock so that it will not break, and then put the sock inside of your sneaker. Also -- just another travel tip... ROLL your clothes, you will be able to fit 1/3 more things in your suitcase and it keeps the wrinkles to a minimum.

You may have more luck if you have caught it before it drys, but I have had good results with using nail polish remover. You have to be patient and continually blot. I have also used Hot Shot carpet stain remover and it is really great. I have also had nail polish just color the tips of the carpet fiber, in this case I just trimmed carefully with sharp scissors. It blended in nicely and no one could tell.

As far as I am aware, nobody currently markets a thinner for nail paints--such an item would most likely contain ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, and in some cases SD alcohol (the largest-rate ingredients in practically all nail enamels and lacquers). Clear varnish consistent with the product that needs thinning wouldn't help your cause, as it contains many of the reinforcing products that are in unusably heavy concentration in the over-thick paint. I could theoretically mix up the appropriate thinner, but that would require a milk run to the chemical supply house, as the aforementioned acetates are NOT available at most hobby shops, hardware stores and/or drugstores. Sorry I can't help you otherwise--the cosmetics companies see too little market for nail-polish thinner to manufacture it.

Try heaps and see which ones you like, or what ones you get the most comments about. At the moment I'm wearing a real deep navy blue an alternative to black, but black is also cool. Fluro is always eye catching! I've seen a baby yellow on someone that looked really cool. Just go with your personality, by heaps of colours and just experiment! i think the dark purples reds, and inbetween wine colors are the best. they are in style and they do look good. also you can never go wrong with those fun highlighter colors or a french manicure

you need to really soke your nail in it. get a tissue or a Cotton swap or what ever u use and soke it with the remover. then stick it on one of your nail and wait about 10 sec. then try rubbing it a little. get a whole new swab for your next nail and repeat in till all the polish is gone. : )

you need to really soke your nail in it. get a tissue or a Cotton swap or what ever u use and soke it with the remover. then stick it on one of your nail and wait about 10 sec. then try rubbing it a little. get a whole new swab for your next nail and repeat in till all the polish is gone. : )

I drank nail varnish remover as a toddle, and spent a good couple of days in hospital. Acetone poisoning is not cool and can kill! Very small amounts of nail varnish remover drank by an adult is not life threatening, but still not good. Acetone causes breathing problems.

As far as I am aware, nobody currently markets a thinner for nail paints--such an item would most likely contain ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, and in some cases SD alcohol (the largest-rate ingredients in practically all nail enamels and lacquers). Clear varnish consistent with the product that needs thinning wouldn't help your cause, as it contains many of the reinforcing products that are in unusably heavy concentration in the over-thick paint. I could theoretically mix up the appropriate thinner, but that would require a milk run to the chemical supply house, as the aforementioned acetates are NOT available at most hobby shops, hardware stores and/or drugstores. Sorry I can't help you otherwise--the cosmetics companies see too little market for nail-polish thinner to manufacture it.
Some of the previously posted Answers mention nail polish remover, but the ingredient lists contraindicate its use--NO paint ever manufactured has acetone in it; acetone, rather, is a brush cleaning agent as well as the best solvent for removing cured paint.

Some girls preffer only the black, other like to mix a little bit with some glitter on top on it, and I think it looks so pretty. So if you like black nail polish go ahead and buy it, and if people think you look like a Goth who cares, they don't pay your bills anyways...LOL =-)

Thanks to Chanel in 2006 Black is now in fashion. If you watched the pussydoll show on channel 11 all the girls wore black polish. I wear it every winter just because I love the way it looks.

Iwear black nailpolish all the time. I think it's a very sexy colour for nails. it goes with practically everything. I'm by no means a goth, or trying to reflect a sad kinda emo life.
nailpolish is like reminiscing on my colouring days, I go for all the bright and different colours, but black is good for anytime.

Can you remove nail polish without nail polish remover?
reapplying a new coat of nail polish and wiping it away quickly won't work here. (tried it!!!)

you need to really soke your nail in it. get a tissue or a Cotton swap or what ever u use and soke it with the remover. then stick it on one of your nail and wait about 10 sec. then try rubbing it a little. get a whole new swab for your next nail and repeat in till all the polish is gone. : )

nails moist %26amp; i kept picking at it, then after try using the filer again.

I then realized I had to work and can't even wear nail polish at work...{why?}

Do you work at mc Donald's? I worked at mc Donald's for one day. I know pathetic right....lol! i couldn't take the smell of it. Seriously i get off from work one day and all i smell like is greasy food. I didn't even work with the food that day. All i did was work on the cash register. I showered as soon as i got home. And still smelt like greasy food. So i showered again. That is when i decided i wasn't going to return to work the next day....
