Can someone tell me the best way to keep nail polish from chipping for a long time?

Not the basics like basecoat, topcoat duh. lol i need some new ideas that ppl use that arent the ';normal';Can someone tell me the best way to keep nail polish from chipping for a long time?
if you file your nails make sure you only move the file in one direction. if you saw it back and forth it will cause the tip of your nail to peel or break later on, which will ruin your polish. next apply a thin layer of base coat. i recommend sally hansen hard as wraps. next apply two coats of color. but make sure you apply thin coats. if you apply thick coats it will peel and chip. allow time to thoroughly dry between each coat. next apply a thin top coat. hope this helps =]Can someone tell me the best way to keep nail polish from chipping for a long time?
The only thing I can tell you is when you polish your nails, keep your hand angled down.Be sure the polish covers the outside tip of the finger nail.It seems to really work for me.Give it a try!
Just rub your nails with nail polish remover first and buff them before applying the basecoat so you've got a clean, dry surface. Or just paint ontop of false nails, it will literally last weeks without chipping
if it does chip, you can use a buffer on the nail and fill it in, then put another coat over the top
why not just use a topcoat? its easy and will definitely work.
a lot of top coat i generally do a lot of layers and it seems to hold fo at least a month
Super Glue
Top coats work but... I like to rub vaseline on my nails! works
use top coat
